Get to know yourself, so you can be so much more. Celibacy is the vehicle that allows that.
Celebrating celibacy is just that. Celebrating life!
As a teenager, there’s so much out there, so many caves, so many deserts, so much food. As a single person, you can choose to go to the Florida Keys, or a trip to the Grand Canyon and stay a day, a week, a month, and it’s all your choice.
Setting a worthy goal can be to travel for a year, or two, or ten… or it may be to learn to be a nurse, or learn to cook, or… there are so many options that it’s impossible to list them all. But you will need to set a series of goals. Goals move you forward and keep you from stagnating. Life is meant to be lived to the fullest, to it’s most amazing, to see the most sunsets from the inside of your tent or your camper. Male or female it doesn’t matter, goals are life.
Your path is another choice you’ll need to make. It could be to work at a big box store for a season to make the money needed for an adventure in South America, or it could be a sales job at a local car dealership where you’re on commission and can leave when you want. I know of people who combined the two and bought a semi truck, and take loads where they want to go. But choosing a path to your goal lets you plan, and prepare for each adventure.
So, don’t let convention stop you. Got out there, see a wonder, sleep in a tent, hunt a bear, pan for gold in Alaska, take a class and learn to be a chef, but do not sit in front of a computer, or play on your phone, or hide in your house. Life is meant to be lived to it’s fullest. Get out there and live!
Go when you want, where you want. Beaches, forests, cities, deserts, all calling your name!
Quiet Early Mornings, simple meals, warm coffee, and the beauty of your own company or hobbies.
Set Life Goals that take you where you want to go. You’re free to do so as you please, when you please.
Your time, your path, your goals and your future. Celibacy gives you room to grow and expand yourself.
Work on your own or with a team, spend late hours understanding a subject. Celibacy lets you do what you need to.
When you live life alone and live it fully, you remind others and teach others that happiness is found inside you, not in others. It’s also found in peace, courage, self discipline, creativity, and freedom.
A celibate life looks exactly like YOU want it to look. No one to tell you it’s too hard. No one to prevent you from buying that tent, or taking that class, or loading the car with your gear.
Don’t let your life be small. Make it huge, and wide open.
Have you gone somewhere beautiful, learned something meaningful, overcome pressure because of you being yourself, found peace in being you, or built an adventure life you want others to experience?
Then write your story! Call us, share with us, be on the podcast, submit a tale to the blog! What you say will help someone else take that first step on the road to their adventure. May help someone understand that being celibate is not being gay. That being alone isn’t wrong.
